Melt Brow & Blowout Bar is the latest addition to Chesterton's beauty scene.

The salon at 501 Allen Court recently opened and aims to offer a number of beauty treatments meant to help customers look and feel their best in a chic, relaxing and aesthetically appealing space. The new Duneland salon focuses on specialized beauty services like brow shaping, treatments and professional blowouts, or drying hair after a wash to style it in a way that lasts for days and cuts the styling time in half.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Duneland Chamber of Commerce will take place at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

"We are so excited to offer a self-care studio to the town of Chesterton. This is a necessity that absolutely everyone needs. Specializing in brows, blowouts, lashes, sugaring and more— we are so excited to meet the new clientele in Chesterton and the surrounding areas. Come Melt with us," said Brittany Anderson, the salon manager at Melt.
