How are the funds, raised through my Memorial Fund, used?

The donations collected through your fund will be used to provide breakthrough research, treatment and cures. These funds will be used for the general operating needs of St. Jude, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment, lodging, travel or food.

What support does St. Jude provide?

Participant Questions

How do I access my Fund Center?

Simply enter your log-in credentials on the Memorial website. You should have received a confirmation email when you created your Memorial Fund. If you do not remember your log-in credentials or have access to this email, simply click the "forgot password" link or contact us at giftfunds@stjude.org or (800) 213-6584.

I forgot my username or password, how do I have them reset?

  • Click here to have your username emailed to you.
  • Click here to reset your password.

Is my information secure?

Yes. St. Jude uses industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. There is an encryption engine on the St. Jude database server so that your data is securely stored.

Are donations to my Memorial Fund tax-deductible?

Yes, all donations made through your Memorial Fund webpage will automatically receive an email acknowledgement for tax purposes. Check donations will be acknowledged after they are received and processed by St. Jude. Please do not mail cash.

Can I collect cash or check donations for my Memorial Fund?

We have made collecting donations easier than ever, by providing the ability to deposit checks directly using your Fund Center.

In the mobile app, log-in and click on the mobile check deposit feature and follow the prompts.

In your Fund Center, click on "Deposit Checks" and follow the prompts.

If you have collected cash for your Memorial Fund, we ask that you please convert these funds into a check or money order. Checks can be uploaded directly into your Memorial Fund.

When a donation is made to my Memorial Fund, will the amount be disclosed?

Your donors have the option of making gifts anonymously during the donation process. If they select this option, their information will not be shared publicly on your fund page. However, as the administrator of the Memorial Fund, you will be able to see their information and amount of their gift in your Fund Center.

How do I thank donors who have made a gift to my Memorial Fund?

Upon creating your Memorial Fund, you have access to a dedicated "Fund Center" that contains support materials to help you manage your fund. This includes pre-formatted messages that you can send to thank your donors.

Can St. Jude help with my fundraising expenses?

St. Jude cannot reimburse you for the purchase of goods or services in support of your event. The tax-exempt status of St. Jude may not be used to purchase items for your fundraising event.

As a St. Jude fundraiser, you will receive an online memorial fund page, a fundraising toolkit and access to fundraising staff who can help answer questions.

How do I add a photo to my Memorial Fund page?

Access your Fund Center. Select "My Page". Click the "Edit Photo" on the current image (left side of the screen). Then click "Choose File", select your image. To finish click on "Save".

Note: Make sure your images are saved as .gif, .jpg, or .png format before uploading to the site.

How do I update the content on my Memorial Fund page?

You can edit your Memorial Fund page from your Personal Memorial Fund Page (what your friends & family see) or from your Fund Center Dashboard. Regardless of what you choose, you must be logged into your account to edit your content. Upon logging in you will see the clickable "Edit" buttons beside each content section that you can modify.

Don't forget to click "Save" when you are done.

How do I personalize my URL?

Access your Fund Center. Your personal URL is shown at the top right side of your dashboard. It can also be accessed from "My Page". Click "Edit" to make a change. To easily share your personal URL, click on "Copy" to add it to your clipboard. Use your devices "Paste" function to add this to emails, social media posts, or texts.
