Numerous businesses have opened or will soon open new locations in southcentral Pennsylvania.

The list includes 74 locations opening in 27 municipalities, and includes restaurants, a pottery studio, a comic book store, warehouses, a fireworks store, a drug treatment center, a footwear store, a grocery store and a self-storage facility.

The new business list is published several times a year on PennLive. Our most recent list was published on April 18.

Good Ground Coffee Company

Good Ground Coffee Company opened at 244 S. 17th St. The shop serves coffee from Colina Coffee Co. along with breakfast items like sandwiches and avocado toast. A lunch menu features salads, flatbreads and soups, while pastries include muffins, scones, cookies and gluten-free brownies. Good Ground’s goal is to employ and teach job and life skills to survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation who are struggling to find employment.

Wingstop

Wingstop opened at the Camp Hill Shopping Center at 98 S. 32nd St. Wingstop’s menu features cooked-to-order classic and boneless chicken wings, crispy tenders and chicken sandwiches that are hand-sauced and tossed in 11 bold and distinctive flavors served. They are served with various house-made sides, including hand-cut, seasoned fries and scratch-made ranch.

Carlisle

Mud Luv Pottery Studio

The studio has opened at 210 C St. The studio offers classes, workshops and open studio time.

Hampden Township

Lansil Global

Lansil Global has leased a 32,000-square-foot warehouse space at 270 Old Silver Spring Road. The company supplies everything from cosmetics, electronics, toys, apparel, household and do-it-yourself items to e-commerce companies across Facebook, Amazon and Shopify. The company is hiring 30 people.

Starbucks

Starbucks will open a 2,400-square-foot standalone shop on Simpson Ferry Road at the South Hampden Shopping Center’s southeast corner.

Lower Allen Township

Bacco Trattoria & Wine Bar

The restaurant will open at 4700 Gettysburg Road. The restaurant will feature Bacco’s private label wine along with Pennsylvania wine, beer and spirits and a menu of Italian entrees, brick oven pizza and specialty cheeses among other items.

Mechanicsburg

Dunkin’

A Dunkin’ is planned for 1110 E. Simpson Road.

Krazy Jake’s Emporium

The comics book store opened at 33 W. Main St.

Southampton Township

Rutter’s

Rutter’s has opened a 10,250-square-foot store at 100 Cramer Road. The 24-hour store features 16 fueling positions, six commercial fueling lanes, a full food menu and a 29-degree beer cave.

Dauphin County

Derry Township

HH Studio

The shop at The Hotel Hershey at 100 Hotel Road sells Lululemon activewear exclusively. The store sells outfits and accessories.

Hoageez

Hoageez plans to consolidate the Lemoyne and Hummelstown shops into a new larger location at Hershey Square Shopping Center. It’s targeted to open this summer and will feature more seating, new menu items and a combined staff.

Nonna Ilva Authentic Italian

Nonna Ilva Authentic Italian has opened at Fresh Market at Hershey Towne Square.

Stuff’D Steaks & Hoagies

The restaurant will open at 108 W. Chocolate Ave.

Zumiez

The store has opened in suite 125 at Tanger Outlets Hershey. The store sells apparel for men, women and children, as well as skateboards, snowboards and accessories among other items.

Harrisburg

Broad Street Market

The temporary tent at North Third and Verbeke streets has opened. Vendors include: Cherished Treasures, Diaspora, Doggie Delights, Fisher’s Delights, Lil’s Pretzels, Peach Ridge Produce, rijuice, Taylor Chip and Two Brothers BBQ.

Imaginary Friends

Imaginary Friends, a new puppet theatre, has opened inside Strawberry Square in suite 117. The theatre holds 60 guests and will produce a variety of performances geared to guests ages 2-11 and their families. Each show will take an educational and age-appropriate approach to an important topic for young children.

Sycamore Homes

The four-floor, 23-unit affordable living apartment building will be located at 1400-1406 Sycamore St. All of the units are studio apartments with around 500 square feet of space.

Lower Paxton Township

F&M Trust has broken ground for an office at 4765 Linglestown Road.

Lidl

The discount grocery store will open at 5125 Jonestown Road.

Reynolds Restoration Services

The disaster restoration and reconstruction company has moved its headquarters to 6195 Allentown Boulevard. It was previously located on North Sixth Street in Susquehanna Township.

Sunoco/Food Market

The Sunoco at Union Deposit Road and East Park Drive has reopened. The gas station building was demolished and rebuilt, and now includes other retail spaces.

Middletown

Bruno’s Corner Bar & Family Italian Restaurant

The restaurant opened at 101 E. Main St. Bruno’s menu features traditional Italian dishes, including thin-crust pizzas as well as pasta.

Susquehanna Township

Keystone Fireworks

Keystone Fireworks opened a new store at 100 Nationwide Drive.

Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant

The restaurant opened in the former Your Place Restaurant & Sports Pub at 2270 Kohn Road. The menu features tacos, empanadas, burritos and fresh-made guacamole as well as margaritas. It also includes vegetarian and vegan dishes.

United

United opened a gas station at 400 S. Progress Ave.

Swatara Township

Lampcandy

The film and video production rental company has relocated to 471 JPL Wick Drive.

Soar Corp Recovery Center

Soar Corp Recovery Center wants to transform the Red Lion Hotel Harrisburg Hershey at 4751 Lindle Road into a drug treatment center that would include a 350-bed inpatient nonhospital substance abuse facility and an outpatient methadone maintenance program.

Franklin County

Antrim Township

Walmart opened a 1.5 million-square-foot high-tech fulfillment center at 1915 Ebberts Spring Court.

Lancaster County

East Hempfield Township

Traditions Bank

The new branch opened at 2151 State Road.

East Lampeter Township

Cole Haan

Cole Haan opened in a 2,500-square-foot store at Tanger Outlets Lancaster. The retailer boasts a variety of casual and dress options for men and women including loafers, drivers, sandals and sneakers, among other items. The shoe-wear brand also sells sunglasses, belts, wallets and outerwear.

Direct Tools

Direct Tools expanded into a new 5,761-square-foot space within the Shops @ Rockvale.

Kings Amish Furniture

Kings Amish Furniture plans to open a 10,877-square-foot store in the former Lenox space at the Shops @ Rockvale. It will be the company’s third store. The store is expected to open in July.

Lee Wrangler

Lee Wrangler relocated to a new 12,154-square-foot space within the Shops @ Rockvale.

Panera Bread

A Panera Bread is under construction at the Shops @ Rockvale and is set to open in the fall with a drive-thru and an outdoor seating area.

Rawlings

Rawlings relocated into a new 6,260-square-foot space within the Shops @ Rockvale. The new store has a batting cage.

Lancaster

Lancaster Downtown Deli

Lancaster Downtown Deli has relocated to 52 N. Prince St.

Manheim Township

Stretch Zone Lancaster

Stretch Zone Lancaster, an assisted stretching franchise, opened at 1651 Lititz Pike.

Manor Township

RMS

The audio-visual equipment store opened a new location at 1001 Millersville Road. The store held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Lancaster Chamber.

Mount Joy Township

West Main Storage

West Main Storage, a temperature-controlled self-storage facility, has opened at 1196 W. Main St.

Warwick Township

Cedar Heights

United Zion Retirement Community broke ground on a new 45-unit apartment building that will be known as Cedar Heights. The four-story building will expand the footprint of the existing United Zion campus and will connect to the main building. The estimated move-in date for the Cedar Heights apartments is in the fall of 2025.

Perry County

Duncannon

Appalachian Thrift and Resale

Appalachian Thrift and Resale will relocate to 706 N. High St. Duncannon.

Howe Township

Dunkin’

Dunkin has opened at 315 Bretz Court. The 3,200-square-foot restaurant employs approximately 30 people and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

York County

Shrewsbury

Realty One Group Generations

Realty One Group Generations held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new branch office with the York County Economic Alliance at 19 W. Railroad Ave. The company has been in business for three years.

Springettsbury Township

Integrity First Home Buyers

Integrity First Home Buyers held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the York County Economic Alliance for a new office at 2525 Eastern Blvd.

West York

The Bakery

Developer, Ben Sutton plans to open “The Bakery”, a 52,000-square-foot multi-tenant entertainment complex at 1501 W. King St. It will consist of brewery taprooms, food vendors, retail vendors, and entertainment experiences such as an indoor golf simulator, hatchet throwing, virtual reality, an arcade and PA skill machines. Tenants so far include She Got Sweets, The Spot, Vibrations of Crystal and Wood, Lola Pop, Alliance Commercial Realty, Champ’s Auto Sales, a Puerto Rican restaurant, an arcade and PA Skill machines. A common space will provide a stage for live music entertainment, comedy nights, silent disco and fundraising events. Event space will be available to rent for parties, gatherings, and events as well as professional meeting space.

Windsor Township

Hess Ornamental Iron

Hess Ornamental Iron, a commercial and residential metal fabrication and repair company specializing in custom railings, stairs, fences and gates, has relocated to a 19,213-square-foot facility at 775 Lombard Road. The facility will serve as the company’s headquarters.

Yoe Construction

The company has opened a new shop at 775 Lombard Road. The new 23,142 square-foot facility more than triples Yoe Construction’s metal fabrication space.

York

Ballpark Commons

A 20,000-square-foot mixed-use building is planned for the property adjacent to WellSpan Park, home of the York Revolution. The future building on North George Street will include hospitality and office space. Royal Square Development and Construction is in negotiations with Mexitaly Brick Oven Brewhouse to occupy a space on the first floor.

Central Market

Central Market at 34 W. Philadelphia St. has welcomed several new vendors this year. The market held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Downtown Inc. to welcome the new vendors. Eleven new vendors — restaurants, bakeries and a winery among others — have opened at the market in the first quarter of the year:

Moreira Mercantile

The store has opened at 13 S. Beaver St. It sells home decor, local treasures and Portuguese specialty goods.

Skillet2Plate Soul Bistro

The restaurant relocated to 355 W. Market St. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held with Downtown Inc.
